Beaudreau Reaffirms Commitment to Public Safety
Lawrenceville, GA June 8, 2004 – District 3 Commission candidate Mike Beaudreau has today reaffirmed his commitment to public safety and his desire to provide county police with the manpower, training and resources needed to effectively fight crime. The International Brotherhood of Police Officers (IBPO) recently announced its endorsement of Mike's primary challenger in the District 3 race, local car salesman Dwight Harrison.
"I enjoyed my meeting with the officers and was impressed with the passion with which these men and women serve our community," said Mike. "While I actively sought the endorsement of these fine public servants, I respect their decision. The issues of concern to this county's crime fighters surpass political endorsements in the midst of an election cycle. I look forward to working with the IBPO and the officers that it represents when I am elected."
