Commissioner Beaudreau Fires the Starting Gun at the
2006 Run The Reagan Road Race
After a several year hiatus, the popular Run The Reagan foot races were held again on February 18th, 2006. Mike helped area runners and community leaders arrange to close Ronald Reagan Parkway for the day so the event could be held.
Mike was the starter for the half-marathon, 10K and 5K races on a cold February morning, but was unable to participate in the races themselves, due to a cold. "I'm glad that I was able to help bring the Reagan race back to Gwinnett County", Beaudreau said. "Events like his help build the county's community spirit, and the proceeds go to a good cause. I look forward to running in the race next year."
