Lilburn Christmas Parade 2004
Mike participated in the annual Lilburn Christmas Parade on Saturday, December 11th. Despite some brief rain showers, he had the opportunity to interact with many community residents.

Mike and some supporters wait in the chilly weather for the parade to start.
Brookwood Elementary School
Mike visited with fourth and fifth grade classes at Brookwood Elementary School in November, 2004, taking questions and answers from the students about the Commission, the elections, and why he is running.
Among the questions he received:
- Whether he was ever going to run for President?
- Why did he run for commissioner?
- What does a commissioner do?
- How much money does a commissioner make?
Many thanks to Ms. Taylor and Ms. Leonard's classes, and Brookwood Elementary for the opportunity to explain civics and how government works.
