Mike Visits with Third District Residents

As a candidate, Mike promised to be accessible to third district residents once elected. To honor that promise, he has attended a number of community events in the district, and has held regular office hours at times when citizens can attend. These pictures represent some recent events.

Mike Acts as Principal for a Day

Commissioner Mike Beaudreau had a unique opportunity to interact with students at a school in District 3 on November 12th, when he participated in the Principal for a Day program, co-sponsored by Gwinnett Public Schools and the Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce. Mike spent the day at Craig Elementary School, part of the Brookwood cluster, where he shadowed Principal Mary Ray.

Commissioner Beaudreau Visits Subdivision Picnic

Mike stopped by and visited with residents of the Manchester subdivision in Lilburn on a recent Saturday afternoon as they held their annual fall neighborhood picnic.

Mike Presents Resolution Honoring Grayson Girls Soccer Team

Commissioner Beaudreau was on hand at the Grayson varsity game against Peachtree Ridge to honor the 2007 Grayson Girls Soccer team.The Lady Rams became the first Grayson team to win a AAAAA state championship this spring. Mike presented the team with a resolution from the County Commission just before the start of the game.

Mike Visits with Snellville and Grayson Residents
at Business After Hours

The city of Snellville, the Greater Grayson Chamber of Commerce, and the Snellville Commerce club held a Business After Hours the last week of July at Summit Chase Country Club. Commissioner Beaudreau had an opportunity to visit with some of the nearly 150 people attending the quarterly event.

Commissioner Beaudreau Recognizes District 3 Students

Commissioner Beaudreau visited the Snellville Commerce Club on May 15th with a proclamation from the county honoring students who won $1,000 scholarships from the club. Marcus Hodges of South Gwinnett High School and Morgan Blouin of Brookwood High School were this year's winners of the FBLA/DECA scholarships.

Later that afternoon, Mike recognized members of the South Gwinnett Girls Basketball team, who for the past three years managed to reach second place in statewide competition.
