Beaudreau Bluegrass Rally an "Old Fashioned" Success
Grayson, GA June 7, 2004 -- Toe-tapping bluegrass music blanketed Tribble Mill Park last Saturday at District 3 Commission candidate Mike Beaudreau's Bluegrass Rally. Supporters, local candidates, elected officials and the curious could not help but get caught up in the infectious fun of Beaudreau's old-fashioned campaign event.
"Out of the Blue" played. "Cluckin' Pig" served BBQ. "Shoo-Fly the Clown"
entertained the kids while local candidates mingled and joined in the dancing fun. Judge Chung Lee, candidate for State Court, Brian Whiteside, candidate for Gwinnett County Sheriff and Mike Sheffield, candidate for Georgia Court of Appeals, all joined Beaudreau supporters Mary Simmons of Grayson and Mary Jo Wesley of Canton, GA in clogging to the bluegrass favorite "Rocky Top."
