Beaudreau Campaign to Host Bluegrass Festival
Lawrenceville, GA May 20, 2004 -- Gwinnett County Commission Candidate Mike Beaudreau announced today that his campaign will host a Bluegrass Festival on Saturday, June 5th at Tribble Mill Park in Grayson. Local band Out of the Blue will be performing. The event is an opportunity for Gwinnett residents to meet Republican political candidates, listen to some music, and enjoy the late spring weather.
The event will run from 10AM until 2PM at the Holly Pavilion, located adjacent to the new children’s playground at the park, located off of New Hope Road. Admission to the festival is free. In addition to the music, visitors will be able to buy a barbecue lunch, prepared by the Cluckin’ Pig Restaurant of Dacula.
Beaudreau commented, "If I am elected to the Commission, one of my goals is to be available and accessible to the residents of the third district. An event like the Bluegrass Festival is a wonderful opportunity for citizens who have concerns about the way the county is being run to meet with many of the candidates running in the July 20th primary, and to express their opinions".
