Beaudreau Campaign Vocal at Dacula Parade
Lawrenceville, GA June 3, 2004 -- District 3 Gwinnett County Commission candidate Mike Beaudreau walked away from the Dacula Memorial Day parade with the award for the most enthusiastic and vocal group of supporters. While many local candidates and one senate candidate, Herman Cain, walked the parade route, only the Beaudreau group showed the enthusiasm befitting the event.
Beaudreau walked the route meeting voters and passing out candy and literature. Behind the candidate were "Tykes for Mike" followed by supporters shouting "Vote Beaudreau, the way to go". Along the route they also led spectators in a chorus of "God Bless America". One supporter said, "We may be off key but we’re patriotic."
"I have the utmost respect for the brave men and women who have fought to preserve the right to have events like the Dacula Memorial Day Parade in small and large towns throughout America." said Beaudreau.
