Mike Beaudreau Qualifies for
Gwinnett County Commission Race

Lawrenceville, GA, April 26, 2004 - Mike Beaudreau has officially qualified to be on the ballot for the July 20, 2004 Gwinnett County Commission District 3 race. He filed his Notice of Candidacy with the Gwinnett Republican Party on Monday, April 26th.

Beaudreau said, "I've been thinking about this day for at least 10 years. Politics is an honorable venture that's been turned into a dishonorable activity. I'd like to restore some integrity to it."

If elected, Mike will work to manage the county's growth, preserving the quality of life enjoyed by residents while encouraging the expansion of the business community. He will make county government more accessible to its its citizens by meeting regularly with third district residents to learn their interests and concerns. He will also work to hold the line on local taxes paid by residents.

About Mike Beaudreau

Mike Beaudreau is a National Accounts Manager for Ricoh Corporation, and has been a Gwinnett County resident for the past five years. He is past president of his homeowner's association, and served as second vice chairman of the Gwinnett Republican party. He graduated from Clemson University in 1997, and has completed additional studies at Georgetown University. He and his wife Tegwen live in the Grayson/Lawrenceville area of the county.
