Mike Beaudreau
The Commissioner Who Listens
Mike Beaudreau represents a district that includes the cities of Snellville, Dacula and Grayson, along with portions of Lilburn, Loganville, Lawrenceville, and Stone Mountain. His term runs until December 31, 2008.
On April 28th, Mike qualified for reelection to the District 3 post, and will appear on the ballot in the November Election. He noted that in 2004, voters had asked him to change things in Gwinnett, and that after thinking hard about his first years in office, he felt he had unfinished business.

Mike's goals for a second term in office include:
- Continuing to expand and improve public safety services in the county, including police, fire, and quality of life.
- Controlling the county's growth rate, in order to make sure that the county has the capacity to provide services to residents, and that new development takes into account the character of our neighborhoods.
- Solving traffic problems by adding to our infrastructure, including more roads, better
signal timing and intelligent traffic management systems.
- Working to expand and improve the parks and recreational facilities offered by the county, especially in the older areas of District 3.
- Make every effort to reduce taxes by controlling government spending.
